E.T.E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial will be released in a digitally remastered edition to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The Blu-ray of the Oscar winning movie - directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Drew Barrymore - will feature never before seen footage from the set of the movie along with an all-new interview with Spielberg. Other highlights will include two deleted scenes, a reunion with the cast and filmmaker, a featurette on the evolution and creation of the movie and a discussion with composer John Williams on the music of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.

"When E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial premiered in 1982, it captured the imaginations of people young, old and everyone in between in a way that was unparalleled in modern movie history. A global cultural phenomenon-and the biggest box-office blockbuster of its day-E.T. brought out the child in all of us. We are thrilled audiences will now be able to experience the film in the astounding quality of Blu-ray," said Craigh Kornblau, President of Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

Universal have confirmed the 1982 original rather than the 2002 update - which featured a number of controversial changes - will be remastered for the 30th anniversary. The Blu-ray release date is set for October.

Michael FassbenderMichael Fassbender wants to reunite with Ridley Scott for a Prometheus sequel.

The Shame star plays an android named David in the prequel to the Alien franchise and revealed he would jump at the chance to take part in a follow-up, which Ridley has previously hinted at, if the project ever materialized.

When questioned by Digital Spy on whether he would return for a second film, Michael confirmed, "That's what I'm hoping."

Michael also spoke fondly of his time shooting the film, noting that working with both Ridley and the stellar cast - which included Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace and Idris Elba - put him under pressure to perform to the best of his abilities.

"I felt very privileged to be part of the team and it also made me concern myself that I wasn't a weak part of the team, that I did my homework as best I could and that I came to work and had something to offer. I think for all of us on the job, all crew members, have a feeling that they're working on something special when they're working with Ridley."

Taylor KitschTaylor Kitsch, Garrett Hedlund and Armie Hammer are reportedly battling it out for the role of Finnick Odair in Catching Fire.

Finnick is the victor of the 65th Hunger Games in the Suzanne Collins book trilogy on which the movies are based and his role is a vital one in the second novel. According to E! News, film bosses are undecided about whether to go with one of these three actors or launch an unknown with the pivotal role. A decision is expected to be made this week.

However, Lionsgate refused to comment, with a representative saying, "As with the first film, we won't be confirming, denying or commenting on any casting rumors for this title. We will announce news wide when there is official casting news to announce."

Filming is scheduled to begin later this year with Francis Lawrence taking over the directing reigns from Gary Ross, who chose not to return to the franchise.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth all starred in The Hunger Games, which was released earlier this year and are on board to reprise their roles of Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne respectively.

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson spent two weeks "worrying" about playing a billionaire in Cosmopolis.

The Twilight actor locked himself in his hotel room for a fortnight prior to shooting the drama movie - which sees him play Eric Packer, a multi-billionaire Wall Street CEO - but he was calmed down by director David Cronenberg who reassured him that his talent would bring out the best in his alter-ego.

"The preparation, I kind of spent two weeks in my hotel room worrying and confusing myself. I remember the weekend before we started shooting, I called David to talk to him about it, to ask him 'one question' like, 'Want to talk about the movie for a bit?' So then I went round to David's house and he said, 'It doesn't really matter. Let's just start, then something will happen.' I think Eric Packer's impossible to approach like you would a normal character."

The 26-year-old star felt the film script was more like lyrics from a song which he found "easier" to comprehend and as a result he didn't want to alter any of the words.

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart never thinks about how successful her movies are going to be when she signs up.

The 22-year-old actress - who has starred in one of the best-received movie franchises of all time as Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga - no longer thinks about how her films affect people because she has to decide if she likes them first of all.

"I couldn't imagine doing a project with the idea of how it's going to affect people. It really has to affect you first, and if it does, then maybe it will affect other people ... I think that people who don't have that are clearly choosing things to become famous actresses. They're clearly choosing things to make money. I mean, I love Los Angeles - I love living here. But I wish that we could make things without the need to hit a home run every single time."

Kristen admits she feels very grateful to have experience so much success in her shirt career and she realizes she is privileged to have worked with so many talented actors: "I feel so extremely successful - and not just because I can greenlight a movie now. It's because I've really only worked with people that I truly love."

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen will make a surprise appearance at the MTV Movie Awards 2012.

The former Two and a Half Men actor has been lined up for a stint on stage at this weekend's ceremony according to a report. Charlie will introduce a tribute to party films and will announce musical act Wiz Khalifa, who was recently arrested for marijuana possession.

"Even though Charlie has cleaned up his act, he still has a sense of humor about his out-of-control days," a source told E! News.

"It's all going to be a really big party moment," another source said.

Also at the event on Sunday night Kristen Stewart will present a section with her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Chris Hemsworth. Meanwhile, her boyfriend and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 co-star Robert Pattinson will not be attending this year. Russell Brand will host the bash.

Christian BaleChristian Bale would ''love the challenge'' of playing Batman for a fourth time.

The actor portrays the Caped Crusader and his alter ego Bruce Wayne for the third time in The Dark Knight Rises and though it is expected to be the final film in director Christopher Nolan's series, the 38-year-old star hasn't ruled out returning to the character again in the future.

"My understanding is that this is the last one. I think it's appropriate, I think it's going out at the right time. But... if Chris came to me with a script and said, 'You know what? There is another story,' then I would love the challenge of making a fourth one work," he said.

However, the director appears to have suggested there definitely won't be a fourth movie, saying the third film marks the "end" of the superhero's story: "What drew me to Batman in the first place was Bruce Wayne's story, and that he's a real character whose story begins in childhood. He's not a fully formed character like James Bond, so what we're doing is following the journey of this guy from a child who goes through this horrible experience of becoming this extraordinary character. That, for me, became a three-part story. And obviously the third part becomes the ending of the guy's story."

Tom HiddlestonTom Hiddleston thought he was "rubbish" in Thor.

The 31-year-old star feels "very lucky" that director Joss Whedon enjoyed his performance as Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) brother Loki in the Kenneth Branagh-helmed superhero movie, so much so he wanted him to play a big part in The Avengers.

"There was no guarantee that it was going to be such a big part, I think. And I also felt like I'd been rubbish in Thor - there was no way I was going to come back. So it was one step at a time and I was very lucky that, as we were coming to the end of shooting Thor, Ken Branagh showed Joss a rough cut of the film and Joss loved it, he loved what Ken had done with it and was really about what Chris and I had done on it. And [Whedon] said, 'I want to take that relationship and make the stakes higher. You've got these two brothers who are fighting each other and now what's at stake is the fate of Planet Earth, because that's what's going on.' So it's really exciting."

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart listened to Adele's music to prepare for the battle scenes in Snow White and the Huntsman.

The 22-year-old actress found the British singer-songwriter's emotional power ballads to be the perfect soundtrack to her character's attempt to win back her kingdom in the big screen reworking of the Snow White fairytale.

"I had Adele on my iPod all the time while doing Snow White. I choreographed whole marches with the army behind me to Adele in my one ear. Adele is really good for the Snow White story. Almost oddly good. She hits the nail on the head for me, and her words are incredible," she said.

Kristen is eager to leave comparisons to her Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn character Bella Swan behind but admitted there are some similarities between Bella and Snow: "How do I compare Bella from Breaking Dawn with Snow White? I guess the only actual comparison - and a million could be drawn - is that they are both very, very strong matriarchs that need to find that position in life. They're both icons. I didn't grow up on fairy tales. People kept saying to me, 'Oh, like us you grew up with this story.' My answer is, 'No, not really. I didn't.' But then again, I didn't grow up with vampires either. Both of these tales were given to me through scripts. I've been really lucky. When it comes to Snow White now I think I know her better than most because there really is such a back story behind what's a simple fairy tale."

Christian BaleChristian Bale will miss his Batman suit, despite its heat and the headaches it caused him.

The Dark Knight Rises star appears as the caped crusader for the last time in the final instalment of the trilogy, and although the character's trademark black suit was awkward to swear, it has a special place in his heart.

"For all the discomfort and the heat and the sweat and the headaches and everything from it, when you sit back and watch the movie at the end of the day, you go: 'Well, that's f***ing cool.' I will miss that, it was a good bit of rubber," he said.

Meanwhile Christian's co-star, Anne Hathaway, who plays Batman's adversary, Catwoman, in the film was excited when she saw the clever way they worked her character's cat ears into the costume, as they are a pair of goggles which flip up when not used, to look like points on the top of her head: "I got chills when I saw that. I was so happy they had such a clever solution to a really iconic but sometimes unnecessary part of the costume."

The Dark Knight Rises - which also stars Tom Hardy as supervillain Bane - is in theaters in July.
